c. Yerevan 17 Mashtots ave.

In 1964 the house-museum was founded in the apartment of Yeghishe Charents. It is also a scientific center for the study of the poet's life and activities.

Collection works lasted 10 years, and the museum proudly opened its doors to visitors only in 1975. On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Charents, the museum was subjected to certain changes and expanded. The museum has more than 8,000 exhibits.

The memorial hall is one of the most important and beautiful parts of the museum. The furniture of the room has been preserved, like the desk, the throne, the carpets inherited from Abgar Agha, the wardrobe, the bronze statues of Buddha, the Chinese panel and other historical items.
